Yesterday was a huge day at the Court: there was a great oral argument, and two interesting cases came down (one of which I discussed yesterday). The great argument was for Kennedy v. Louisiana, which asks if using the death penalty for child rape violates the 8th amendment's ban on cruel and unusual punishment.
